Alleviating reading difficulty in elementary students based on learning styles

This study focuses on the effects of learning styles correcting reading errors and improving comprehension skills elementary school 4th 5th grade students. The was conducted over eight weeks with a total 128 hours, 32 hours each four students from two schools in Western Black Sea region, who has difficulties without mental, auditory, or visual problems. Ministry National Education’s Turkish textbooks for grades 1-5 were used study. Marmara Learning Styles Scale showed style preferences three as auditory that remaining student visual. For style, researcher created audio recordings appropriate stress speed. Before read text, played through headphones.
